Care Plans

What are care plans?

A care plan is a financial investment made by, or on behalf of someone who requires long term care. Whether that care is required in the home or in a care home, care plans can help you to pay for the cost of long term care fees.

What options might be available to me?

The main type of care plan currently available on the market is an immediate needs care plan. An immediate needs care plan will provide you with a guaranteed income towards your care fees in return for an upfront premium. Immediate need care plans are a type of long term care insurance, and are also known as a long term care annuities.

Finding the right care plan for your needs can be a complex process and signing up will mean a big financial commitment.
