Egg, formerly one of the largest online only banks offering the Egg Savings Account, has - as of Novemebr 2012 - been acquired by the Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) and has re-branded into the YBS name.

The services once offered by Egg, including its Egg Savings Account, mortgages and insurance solutions for customers are instead offered through YBS. Its Egg credit card accounts have now been transferred to Barclays.
